Andy O’Meara, Kevin Stevens, Matt McDonald and Fr. John Grieco led thirteen entering ninth graders on the 2018 CIT trip in early July for a five-day expedition.
All the boys are CIT’s or Counselors in Training for the Sebago Leadership Camp next summer.

The group set up their base at Wynnview, the house we have in Randolph, Vermont.  Matt McDonald gave a series of talks on how to get a good jump start
on High School. The boys participated in a series of writing and public speaking exercises to get them started with the high school experience.
A background theme for the trip is learning leadership lessons from the American Revolutionary War period.  Matt McDonald led the boys on instructive
trips to Bunker Hill and Lexington and Concord on the way to Wynnview on the first day of the trip.  The group also visited Ft. Ticonderoga as
part of the experience.

The picture shows Matt McDonald reviewing the boys’ essays while they enjoyed the surrounding of a campfire.
