Dear Friends,

We ask the intercession of Mary, our mother, for all our intentions during the month of May.

As we approach summer, we look forward to another session of the Sebago Leadership Camp, taking place at Camp Moses in western Massachusetts.  Under the leadership of Andy O’Meara, Raymond Le Grand, John Paul Lechner and others, the boys will enjoy practical classes such as building medieval castles and learning how to fish. They will also compete among their cabins in a variety of sports, swim, kayak in the lake and play night games.  Fr. John Grieco will say Mass each day for the camp.  A growing number of Sebago alumni help us to continue the work of the Camp on a year-round basis.  Potential high school counselors meet periodically to develop their leadership skills.  The Sebago Camp is a learning experience for boys and men of all ages.  See for more details.

Many of the Sebago counselors attend the Edge program during the school year.  There, young men in high school learn about seeking excellence in their school years, prepare for careers and grow in virtues, such as fortitude, friendship, and service.  Many men gave their time this past year helping us to guide the Edge.  Thank you!

The Frontiers father and son club enjoyed a great year, under the care of Nick Wells, Erick Diaz, Sam Pinto, and other dads.  They heard talks on virtues directed to both young boys and dads, worked on projects and played sports, all at Sparhawk Academy in Millis.

Please consider making a retreat this year at Arnold Hall.  Retreat weekends in May, June and September are still available. Go to for dates and to register.

The Prelate of Opus Dei, Msgr. Fernando Ocariz, continues to ask for prayers for the ongoing work to revise the statutes of Opus Dei.  Just this week, he wrote, “I count on the prayer of each and every one, cor unum et anima una (Acts 4:32) – it is everyone’s concern – for the ongoing study of our Statutes. . . . The goal is to finalize, in the best possible way, the Statutes of the Work, following the indication given by the Pope to ‘safeguard the charism’ that is, to safeguard its essential elements such as its secular and mainly lay character, the unity of vocation between lay people and priests.”  Please support the Prelate in his request for prayers.

I invite you to attend the Mass of St. Josemaria, to be held Wednesday, June 26 at 7:00 pm, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 420 High Street, Dedham.  Thank you for your prayers and support.
