NAVIGATORS CLUB FOR BOYS
What Is Navigators?
A Club for Sixth and Seventh Grade Boys. Navigators’ purpose is to have the boys make friends while participating in constructive activities and sports, learn about virtues like fortitude and service to others and to appreciate spending time in prayer with God.
What Happens at Navigators?
Boys meet on a Friday afternoon for a snack, sports, a talk on a character virtue, a short period of prayer in the chapel, games and dinner.
Who Can Attend?
Boys in the sixth and seventh grades. Also, the fathers of the boys participate once a month.
Navigators Meeting Dates and Times: Two Parts
Part I: 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm, at Sparhawk Academy.
Part II: Once a month, on the 3rd Saturday, the dads join their sons at Chestnut Hill Center, from 4:45 to 8:00 p.m., for sports, prayer in the chapel, dinner, and movie.
Navigators starts on October 13 for the 2023 – 2024 school year.
Where Does Navigators Meet?
Part I: Friday afternoon meetings for boys only: Sparhawk Academy, 376 Orchard Street, Millis, MA 02054
Part II: Once a month meeting for boys and dads: Chestnut Hill Center, 481 Hammond Street, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467
What Is the Cost of Navigators?
$250 per boy and father, for the entire year, September through April. Each additional boy: $100.
